READY FOR BETTER METHOD – MASTERY
Mastery of any meditative method includes focused practice that refines practitioners’ awareness and ability to concentrate. Mastery of the R4B meditative movement/concentration practice goes beyond the Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced stages identified above. Mastery involves additional practices and viewpoints drawn from ancient spiritual disciplines. These practices and viewpoints are embedded in an ongoing series of articles first published at IB Reflections and re-published in the R4B Articles section.
The expanded practices and viewpoints presented in the articles provide a dharma context for experiential learning. This learning will yield a variety of benefits, including insights about karma and the nature of one’s own mind. This is especially true for those practitioners who cultivate fresh awareness and use it to refine their intentions and guide their behavior. The dharma wanderer is greatly appreciative of his wise and open-hearted meditation teacher, Lama John Hoag, who continues to provide kind and sensitive guidance.
